Here is some of the information from my latest chat with Caroynne. This wasn't an "interview", Caz will do the next big interview when she returns from Sweden.
Carolynne: I've just been in the studio and having meeting with BMG my publishing company, and arranging different people for me to write songs with. I'm just packing coz I'm going to Sweden tomorrow (Sunday).
Sarah: How long you going for?
Carolynne: I come back on the 29th (Saturday) coz I'm singing in Leeds at some corporate event. Then I'm going to Louise and Jenson's engagement party on Sunday (30th)
Then on the 4th I have some gig with Peter (laughs)
Sarah: Oh yeah, you are going to do a few aren't you?
Carolynne: Yeah. Portsmouth Uni on the 4th. Then on the 5th I've got Glamorgan (??) Uni
Sarah: Where's that?
Carolynne: God knows!
(How silly am I! Just found out it is in Wales -)
Carolynne: Then I've got Swansea Uni Christmas ball on the 10th!
Sarah: It's only people from the uni's that can go then?
Carolynne: I don't know. I don't think so. I'm sure people will blag their way in (laughs) That's what I used to do!!
Sarah: None in London then?
Carolynne: Not at the moment. I'm sure one will come up but those are the only ones confirmed at the moment. What else? Urm, I'm just songwriting at the moment!
Sarah: You're keeping very busy!
Carolynne: Yeah, but it's important to give a couple of months to writing and that.
Sarah: How's it going?
Carolynne? Yeah it's going really well. I'm writing a lot of stuff with a guy called Toddy (?!) who's in the band Republica.
Sarah: Ohh right, I know them
Carolynne: Yeah he wrote the (starts singing some lines from one of the bands songs) Do you know that?
Sarah: Yeah I do!
Carolynne: I've got on really well with him songwriting wise and we wrote two songs last week. One was called "Stretch" and the other "HeadSpin"
Sarah: Are you sticking to one kind of style?
Carolynne: Yeah it's just rocky, rock chick, my syle! (laughs)
Sarah: Like the other songs we've heard?
Carolynne: Yeah! "Stretch" is a mid-tempo kind of rocky song. They are all gonna be a bit rocky. There are some funky bits in them.
Sarah: Doing any ballads?
Carolynne: Yeah, but I haven't written any recently. I wrote one called "Justify" which was good and another called "Somebody" which is a bit like a ballad.
Sarah: How many do you want to put on the album?
Carolynne: I want about 13 on there. I think 17 is too many and 10 is not enough
Sarah: 13 is is just right. In the middle!
Carolynne: Yeah! I will write loads more than that and just pick the best ones.

Carolynne: I went to a rally the other day! I went with Paris and we then went for dinner in a 30 million pound mansion!! I was like wooooh! (laughs)
Sarah: Sounds like the Fame Academy!!
Carolynne: Oh no, it was in Mayfair. The fame academy were grotty!
Sarah: That was about 30 million wasn't it?
Carolynne: Yeah but this was miles better! Fame Academy mansion wasn't nice, it looked ok on the tv but not in real life!
