Dan's Review
Ok, got to the club at about 7.45pm, and Haylz and the
rest still weren’t there! – apparently Pink
Princess was still putting on her make up! Hehe.
Eventually they arrived and we found a nice big sofa to
wait on right at the front door. We had absolutely NO trouble
getting in whatsoever. There wasn’t even a bouncer!
Anyway, after we’d all had a few drinks (few meaning
3 or 4), we decided we’d better get to the front of
the stage so we knew we’d be RIGHT at the front. I
noticed that most people had brought Caz things to sign
and photo’s, so I was feelin a bit stingy!! –
but then this guy came round selling roses! Haha. I though
‘why not!’ so I got a nice dark red one.
After a few more drinks we all started getting a bit more
loud, energetic and chatty. It turns out that me and some
of the girls were all also Steps fans, and after revealing
our past alter-egos, remember each other! Very strange.
The DJ had this text number that you could request songs.
So cue lots of cool pop music! Hehe. Songs like ‘Drove
all night, hole in the head, and ahem…. ‘c’est
la vie’ got us all moving! At some point Trouble introduced
herself, VERY drunk! Haha go babe! Also Kristina introduced
herself also, and her boyfriend. She stuck around with us,
and joined our mad group.
It seemed like no time at all, that the clock had struck
one! We all huddled eagerly at the front of the stage, where
this evil woman, kept shouting at us. Dead on time (I think)
Caz came on! Wearing an army print cap, and jean jacket
and jeans, and looking very cool. Here’s the point
where I regretted drinking so much on an empty stomach,
cos I can’t remember how the new songs sounded. She
sung ‘That’s why we don’t talk anymore’
– which surprisingly is NOT a ballad! Then she did
‘underneath your clothes’, and then ‘Therapy’.
At some point during the show, the evil woman pulled some
of our party out, for reasons unknown! – maybe being
too loud! Hehehe. I did my best to smile at the cow and
do whatever she said.
When she’d finished, Caz started shaking peoples hands,
and when she got to me I handed her the rose. “Hey!!
I didn’t get any Valentines this year! WICKED”
(I think she MUST have been lying!) and then she gave me
a kiss on the cheek. That was VERY cool.
At this point I think I went to the toilet, and when I
got back, all of our party had vanished, as had all our
coats, and JUMPERS! (Still didn’t find my jumper!!!
Bah). Anyway, I phoned Haylz to ask what the hell was going
on!! Apparently they’d all rushed upstairs cos Caz
was signing!!! I literally SPRINTED up those stairs, and
found everyone waiting in quite a small little queue to
meet Caz, who was sitting on a sofa in one corner, surrounded
by Big scary bouncers.
Also there was Lucy Jo, her mate from Corrie. She was really
sweet, and was chatting away to us a bit.
As you can imagine, we were all very giggly and nervous,
and excited. Some of us had had way too much to drink (mostly
me!). When we got to Caz, she was REALLY chatty and lovely
as always. I said ‘Did you like the rose?’ –
“Yeh it was lovely thank you”. Then I realised
that I didn’t have anything for her to sign, other
than the cards she was giving out. A crazy thought popped
into my mind then, cos I had a white pinstripe shirt on
‘Will you sign my shirt too?’ – “are
you SURE you want me to ruin your shirt!?” –
‘YEH!!’ haha. Oh and by the way she’s
SO tiny!! Shorter than me, and that’s saying something!
I also got one photo with her, and I’m almost positive
the bouncer took one of her signing my shirt! haha
As there was not too many people waiting to see her, I thought
I’d be cheeky and go round again cos I had one photo
left! When I got there she said “what? You again,
haha” – ‘I thought I’d be cheeky
and ask for another photo to finish of my film!’ –
“ok darlin”. ‘oh, yeh, you’ve GOT
to record She’s the girl you want’ – “
I AVE recorded it!! Hehehe” – ‘wicked!
I love that song! Should be the single!’
Then got another kiss on the cheek and a nice hug. I then
asked if I could take a quick photo for my phone and caz
said ‘yep go on’.
After quickly chatting away with the other boarders, I
suggested (I think) that we get a photo of Caz and all us
messageboard people. One was taken on Pink P’s camera,
which was digital so we all got to see it. And Caz had one
on her camera.
The one of PP’s is So funny. For some reason I’m
saying something to Caz, and she’s looking at me.
The others look kinda drunk as well!! Haha hope Caz sends
her copy to Sarah!
She then had to leave after that I think. We all waved
her goodbye, and promised to see her at the next gig, whenever
that’d be.
We then sat around the sofa area chatting and chilling.
I entertained people on the piano with some tunes! Haha,
and requests. I WILL learn ‘underneath your clothes’
promise! Haha.
And at that point it was getting kinda late and I had to
leave to go get my coach back.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all I think.

What night! I ave never been so drunk in all my life cant
remember much, i was told this mornin that i wrote on the
toilet door!i seriously cant remmber even getting my pen
out to do it.im well pickled! was sick this mornin too!
Carolynne was fab! her outfit was awesome, and her song
was really groovy!! Shame about the club though. was very
good andvery big but too gay! Gay clubs are a laugh but
this one was proper gay! i felt like i stood right out and
it wasnt very nice. Still an experiance and me and my mates
havent stopped laughing about it yet.
Was really grateful too that Carolynne done a siging and
it was cool because we werent just rushed through. Madea
di*k out of myself though coz i was cryin coz i was just
so overwhelmed and i was really drunk which made me worse.
Lucky I will never see anyone from that club again coz i
wa just hysterical!
Best time ever though just wish I could do it all over again
so i wouldnt get so drunk. Defo going to Epsom now if thats
stillgoing ahead.

Well Jon and I arrived in Birmingham at around 1 o'clock
so we checked into the hotel and waited for Bex(Pinkprincess)
to arrive at half past.
ONce she arrived we just all spent the afternoon window
shopping haha oh and we went to the pub at tea time for
a drink (well I had a drink and the other 2 just had a glass
of coke )
We went to the club at about 8ish i think it was and Bex
went to meet Vicky and Nikki, once we were all in the club
we then took up our places by the stage............well
actually we were sat 'on' the stage.
Dan kept us entertained with his steps dance routines which
I have to say he is very good at. The time just seemed to
drag until 1 o'clock when caz was due to come on stage and
i spent an absolute fortune in text msgs ha ha
when caz came on stage everyone was screaming at her she
announced that had been a while since she had done anything
live, the first song she sang was 'thats why we dont talk
anymore', then the latest one she has written called 'Therapy'
and then her favourite from the academy 'Underneath your
clothes' which i was so pleased about cos Ive always wanted
to hear hr perform that song live
I really cant wait for her album now cos her own stuff
is wicked.
when she was up on stage and she spotted me at the front
of the stage she grabbed my hand and asked me if i was alright
. .......... I was really surprised that she knew who i
was without me even having to say anything to her. I
had bought a hat for her yesterday so I gave her that while
she was on stage too.
once her set was finished they announced that she would
be doing a signing so we all went upstairs and waited. when
it was my turn to go and speak to her she spoke to the security
and explained she knew who i was and that i was from the
site...... so i went over and she was like 'y'alright darlin?'
and she gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She said
to me about the video message so i recorded that and then
she signed some pics i had with me....... she took one look
at the pics and said 'oh my god you've picked the worst
'bleepin' pictures' and she signed them for me,i didnt
even need to tell her my name-she took the pics and said
straight away do you want me to sign them to 'Hayley'or
to 'Haylz' , i then asked if i could get a photo too and
she was like 'oh yeah course you can have a pic'.... i felt
guilty tho cos i felt like i had been talkin to her ages
so i said to her 'are you sure you have time?' and she said
'no i dont have time, you cant have a photo' of course
she was only joking tho. i cant actually remember everything
she said to me cos it feels a bit surreal to be honest,
she did ask me about my wedding and wished me luck with
it and told me to keep her up to date with the news about
it i then got another hug from her and a kiss and said
bye.
After everyone had seen her individually we then had a
group pic taken with her after that was taken she told me
that she loved the hat i had given her earlier.
that was it basically. She is so down to earth and when
i spoke to her i felt like i had known her for years cos
she makes you feel so at ease!!
After I had spoken to her, Jon went to speak to her and
she wished him luck with the wedding too and he told her
he would need it, she looked at me and rolled her eyes when
he said that ha ha
So Caz if you're reading this I just wanna say thanks for
being such a sweety!!!!
