Yorkshire beauty Carolynne Good, 22, is terrified her drunken snog with wildman Peter will affect her chances of winning. The ood couple claim they got extremely drunk when they went to the Tv Quick Awards recently.
" I haven't had a drink in ages and we were knocking back the champagne" she says. " I don't have a crush on Peter, but he is sweet and we had a drunken kiss. That's all. I'm scared his fans will vote against me because he has a girlfriend. There's so much paranoia here because I don't know what happening in the outside world"
But while she says nothing more will happens, she admits
she isn't enjoying being single. "Seeing what (former
contestant) Louise had with Jenson Button made me really
miss it. When I'm performing I'd love to see someone special
looking down at me from the balcony like everyone else has".
She split from Leeds United footballer Seth Johnson before
winning a place in the Academy.
"He's with someone else now" she says. "
It's hard. I thought he could be the one, but shit happens"
Her love life might be on hold but after five years trying
to make it as a singer-songwriter, her dream is within her
grasp. "I've worked so hard for this. Mum and dad remortgaged
their house to help me pursue a music careet. The first
thing I'll do when I get a record deal will be to pay off
their mortgage. I owe them so much"
