Carolynne admits she sings Christina Aguilera songs in
the shower, including "all those funny noises."
Tell us about Top of The Pops...
We Saw Louise Redknapp, her and Jamie were sat there watching.
It was really cool, had a chat with her, So Solid Crew were
there, Alex was fantastic!
How does reaching the final four in Fame Academy
rate in your life's greatest achievements?
It's definitely up there, that and becoming a professional
songwriter, I never thought I'd ever make it this far, don't
want to be down in the bottom again so fingers crossed.
Is there any Fame Academy moment you'd like to rewind
and change or re-live?
I'd like to re-live the Daniel Bedingfield moment, I was
so nervous that I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I
wanted to. I haven't watched it back yet, I thought I was
really bad. I'll have to watch it on my own, he's so good.
It was Daniel's first ever duet as well.
What do you sing in the shower?
Everything! Christina Aguilera, I make all those funny
noises when I'm warming up as well!
If you were one of the seven deadly sins, which
one would you be and why?
Lust, not because I lust but all the others sound really
horrible!
If you had three minutes left on earth what would you do?
Oh good grief! Cut my hair! See what I look like with short
hair!
What song do you put on when you're getting ready
to go out?
I've been putting on The Darkness; I was given it before
I came in here.
Do you feel any extra responsibility being on TV
and having loads of fans?
Yeah I do, that's the one thing that's hit me quite hard.
Being in here knowing you're being filmed and the cameras
are on you 24/7 is one thing, but it doesn't really sink
in, I just think that my mum and dad are watching! But when
you go outside and people are following you around, they've
got pictures of me, it freaks me out a little bit and they
say, 'You're so great, I wanna be just like you,' and half
of me is thinking 'You do not!' I've never been looked at
like this before, lots of people come up to you but lots
of people just look. It is the biggest compliment ever,
when people who don't even know you write you letters, I
read them over and over.
What would you need to be given to leave The Academy
right now?
To leave The Academy right now a big record deal, five-album
record deal.
How would you like to be remembered?
Down to earth, kind and friendly and a respected singer/songwriter.
What is your favourite smell?
My favourite perfume is Samsara. I like Deep Heat on men,
that's really sexy; or the smell of men who have been rolling
around in mud. When they come in and smell a bit dirty but
not dirty! That mud and grass smell...
